Heliconia Caribaea 4 in 1 'Christmas Green' Rhizome
Seedling variation from Caribaea 'Christmas Green' Four color variations on the same flower in the same cluster. Same flower, 4 different color manifestations within the same flower: New flower, mostly green. Then, yellow with green tips. After that, yellow cheeks covering close to half of the bract followed by green to the tip. Finally, Mostly green with a yellow rachis. Seeds mature at this stage. *At The Tropical Flower Store we use the mature bloom color variation to identify seeds. The final stage or mature phase is the one that closely resembles the seed's origin plant/bloom. Intermediate color variations are not used to identify our seeds. Intermediate variations are considered the observable characteristics of the phenotype. Inflorescence; Upright and Distichous. Height; 10 to 15 feet tall. Needs; Direct sunlight to shade.
